strong sturdy brush for cleaning grout, the problem is the handle is not ergonomic, has no grips or built in serations to hold the handle when your hand is wet, which is what happens when cleaning grout.

What is grout?
Grout is the material that is applied between tiles to fill the space between and hold them together. It is rough and porous, it has microscopic holes in its surface. These tiny holes allow dirt and grime to slip in and make a home for themselves. Liquids can also help it penetrate even deeper, causing your grout to look discolored.
Dirty mop water is one of the biggest reasons for discolored grout.
Instead of cleaning up dirt, mop water simply pushes it around from the tile surface to the grout surface. Since the grout is lower than the tiles the water pools and settles into these low spots. This is frustrating since your grout will look dirty despite your best efforts to clean it.

6 Steps to Clean Grout
Step 1: First wipe down the grout with hot water. This removes surface dirt and grime.
Step 2: Next spray a cleaning solution on the grout. If you do not have some you can make your own.
Make a 50-50 mix of vinegar and water in a spray bottle. Spray on the grout and let sit for 5 minutes.
Step 3: Scrub with our power grout brush. Of course, we recommend our grout brush for the job, as it is specially designed for the task. But you can use a toothbrush or other small brush if you wish, you just may need a lot more elbow grease. Do not use a metal brush as it can scratch your tile and knock out pieces of grout.
Step 4: Rinse and dry thoroughly to make sure you don’t leave any water behind to pool in the grout.
Step 5: For really stubborn grout stains, mix a paste of two parts baking soda and one part water. Apply it to the stain and let it sit overnight. Then scrub with a brush. Rinse with hot water and dry thoroughly when done.

Product works well on flat open surface but due to the size and shape of the handle you are unable to get into corners or close to some objects. Handle and bristles are very sturdy. Product would be good to use for some projects but not those I purchased it for.
